About Fine-Hammond Dance Studio
At Fine-Hammond Dance Studio in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, our goal is to provide a welcoming and caring atmosphere for all dancers. Our students will be able to hone their dance skills and gain an appreciation for the art of dance. When you enroll your child in our studio, he or she will also learn to value friendships that will last a lifetime!
Meet Our Staff
Cristine Fine Hammond
Cristine Fine Hammond, owner and director of Fine-Hammond Dance Studio, began her dance training at age five as a student of the late Lois Duncan. She advanced her training with help from various professional instructors including Harding Dorn, Frank Hatchett, Buster Cooper, Paul Chambers, and Cliff Kirwan. In addition, she trained at Missouri Dance Theater and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
To further improve her skills, Cristine studied theater and dance at Stephens College. She has performed with several Kansas City summer theater companies, Kansas City Theater Workshop, and the Son Theater Mime Troupe. Her choreography experience includes productions for the Kansas City Theater Workshop, Kansas City Chiefettes, Sweet Adelines, various high school drill teams and musical productions, and performances for the Fine-Hammond Dancers.
She has over 51 years of dance experience and has been directing the Fine-Hammond Dance Studio for more than 36 years.
Chelsea Aneyo, Cristine’s daughter, is the Artistic Director at Fine-Hammond Dance Studio. Her credentials include:
Rosa Lea Winders
Rosa Lea Winders is a part-time instructor and sub-instructor. She has been working with the studio for over 35 years.
Katie Snyder is a part-time instructor and sub-instructor, and has 15 years of experience with the studio.
